Portage County is our home and where it all began. Summer of 2025 we began opening a creative reuse thrift store (Collect) in Plover and open makerspace (Gather) inside Artist & Fare. With the evolution of more restaurants (and bars) opening inside the building it prompted a move and hunt to find our new permanent home for expanding our creative reuse thrift store stocked with donated arts and crafts supplies, along with antiques and oddities. Good things don’t happen overnight and we are quietly working on a partnering with the community for a building to even expand our efforts into the fiber recycling space. The area is still our main priority for accessible arts access in art workshops for adults, artist relief, special projects like murals and more; all with the mission make art accessible and advocate for professional artists in our area. Our fundraising goal below reflects both what we need for future programming AND the expansion into the new building.
